Safety & Security

We design safety into the deal — from partner vetting and compliant equipment to real‑time visibility, incident response, and transparent documentation.

How We Keep Loads, People, and Assets Safe

Four pillars underpin our approach: Vetting, Visibility, Insurance, and Incident Response. Each pillar is measurable and auditable.

Vetting

Network Qualification

  • Licences: Carrier, driver PDPs, and vehicle roadworthy certificates.
  • Equipment: Brake, tyre, and lighting checks; photo verification on handover.
  • History: References and repeat performance scoring inform allocation priority.
Visibility

GPS & Milestones

  • Live location sharing (where enabled) with geo‑fenced checkpoints and ETAs.
  • Pickup / en‑route / delivery confirmations with timestamped evidence.
  • Exception alerts for route deviations and prolonged stops.
Insurance

Cover & Controls

  • Goods in Transit (GIT) and third‑party liability required for carriers.
  • Validated policy docs prior to dispatch; excess terms disclosed up‑front.
  • High‑value loads: optional escorts, seals, and parking protocols.
Response

Downtime & Incidents

  • Downtime clause: payment pause or like‑for‑like replacement within 24–48h.
  • Repair path with approved workshops; tyre & brake standards enforced.
  • Post‑incident review and root‑cause remediation for repeat prevention.

Compliance Matrix

Our baseline compliance requirements across common trailer categories.

Side Tippers

  • Weight & axle load limits confirmed pre‑dispatch.
  • Hydraulics inspected; tip zones demarcated at site.
  • Mine induction where required; PPE compliance.

Flatdecks & Lowbeds

  • Load securement (chains/straps) checked against payload.
  • Oversize permits and pilot vehicles when applicable.
  • Edge protection and fall‑prevention for loading/unloading.

Tautliners & Reefers

  • Seal integrity, temperature logs (reefers), and hygiene standards.
  • Dock safety procedures; pallet and MHE compliance.
  • GMP/food‑grade protocols for FMCG where required.

Documentation & Chain of Custody

Clear paperwork protects every party. We standardise and digitise the trail.

Before Dispatch

  • Signed lease/haulage terms, IDs/CK docs, and insurance proof.
  • Pre‑trip inspection checklist with photos and timestamps.
  • Route plan, permits, and site‑specific rules acknowledged.

During & After

  • ePOD / delivery note capture; seal numbers logged (where used).
  • Incident/exception forms; downtime approvals if triggered.
  • Return inspection checklist and condition sign‑off.

Data Security & Privacy

Operational trust extends to information handling.

Principles

  • Least‑privilege access for documents and identities.
  • Encrypted at rest/in transit where systems allow.
  • Retention policies aligned to legal and operational needs.

Transparency

  • Clear consent for tracking/visibility features.
  • Audit logs for critical workflow steps.
  • Vendor due diligence for tech partners.
